This sunny January day has me feeling expanded, excited, and ambitious. I want to do things again that I haven’t done since March 2020. Like eating in a restaurant. Staying in a hotel. Get a mani-pedi. I am one of those folks who still think COVID is out there big time and since we had it in October, I’m shy about immersing myself too deeply in the waters. But I’m planning.
When you have a paid subscription to my newsletter, one of the perks is that you will be the first to hear about really special things and have the opportunity to register before others for those really special things. So I’ll give you a minute to do that (it’s just $5 a month!!) so that when I announce the final plans for my October Writing/Wilding/Yoga retreat in Iceland, you will get first dibs. Sounds good? Yeah! It’s going to be spectacular. More soon.
In the meantime, I am excited to tell you that our really super popular Gateless Writing Salons are back on zoom! We’ll meet up on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm. See all the details HERE and sign up soon because I only take 8 people per session.
And, there are a few spaces left in the Deep Winter Writing Retreat in Frederick, Maryland, on Feb. 4 (optional sleepover on Feb. 3). I have just a few spaces left so be in touch now if you want to come. More HERE!
What does all this have to do with Ayurveda? I explain that in this Banyan Botanical Blog with my friend Jennifer Kurdyla. Read it HERE. Hint - your dosha has a lot to do with how you write.
My new book is coming in July! Pre-orders are open now. Learn how to heal yourself with simple home remedies based on Ayurveda, my personal experience, and lots of living. The Beginner's Guide to Ayurvedic Home Remedies: Ancient Healing for Modern Life is beautiful! Rich with illustrations and photos and easy to navigate. I am so excited for you to get your hands on it!
By the way, I know my newsletters often have typos. I am so used to having editors clean that up for me, but it’s just little ole me sitting here at my desk in Reisterstown. Ella and Jonnie are softly snoring next to me as the sun pours in, and I’m eager to be in touch with you. So sometimes misspellings, etc slip through. I am only human! And I love wabi-sabi, perfection in imperfection. We are all so flipping perfect!
xo,
Susan
Thank you for this. I absolutely loved your blog on the banyan botanicals page on writing. Totally inspired to start my day with joining this morning. Grateful for you and excited to learn more about Ayurveda :)
