If you find yourself in the Maryland area, please consider joining me in October to write together, read together, talk about our writing, encourage and support each other. Maybe make a new friend!

1) Writing Salon at The Station (Falls Road across from The Valley Inn), Thursday, Oct. 9, 11 am - 1 pm. Donations are appreciated but the gathering is free! No experience necessary. This is a great way to get your feet wet, put pen to paper and see what happens. (hint: it’s nearly always magical!) 2) Writing Salon at Good Contrivance Farm in Reisterstown, half-day retreat, Saturday, Oct. 11, 1 pm - 4 pm. An afternoon of writing to prompts, various creative exercises, and reading our work to each other. Email me at susan@susanweisbohlen.com to join the group.

3) Writing Salon at Manor Mill in Monkton, 10 am - 2 pm. Writing, reading, sharing, craft tools, and techniques accessed through nature-based activities. Sign up HERE.

This is a big, spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime journey to a place far far away. We will walk the valleys, visit villages and view vistas that you will remember forever. You will taste the food from organic farms in the Himalayan mountains. Sit with Monks and Nuns as they chant auspicious prayers to the Buddha. See nature in all its wild beauty as we travel slowly, taking it all in. This is a tiny yet vast country, a destination for the few who make their way across the world, over Mt. Everest, and into the Kingdom of Bhutan. India is just to the south and will take advantage of the location with a 4-day (optional) tour of the gorgeous Golden Triangle (Taj Mahal, Rajasthan, Jaipur, Delhi).
