This showed up on my Facebook today in regards to this post and I just love everything about it:

Susan I’m right there with you. The spiritual bypassing that is showing up all over FB is sickening. It’s outrageous. There’s nothing spiritually enlightened about romanticizing racism, misogyny, and homophobia with phrases like “we need to see what has to get addressed in order to heal it”. This administration is has laid out a clear agenda that puts many of us at risk, and no truly spiritual person is going to be celebrating that or gaslighting suffering people with “let’s all just love one another”. When I’m facing a reality where I have 3 months to make plans for the safety of myself and my family, I have zero obligation to try and make nice with the people who caused this. My spiritual practices involve witnessing reality and consciously showing up to it, as well as holding people accountable for their actions. I have zero interest in hiding from reality in some kind of spiritual bypassing story, and it’s disheartening to see how many folks are not only doing that as their own coping mechanism but actively shaming others for not going along.

I agree with you completely, Susan. Today was exhausting, traumatic, and frightening.

Well, those of us who didn't go through what your family barely escaped, are about to find out what a lying laughing piece of orange ratshit can do when an unencumbered by a conscience. More than half this country has abandoned any principles they might have had, and lost their minds, or never learned to to use one.

Yep, he said he didn't need the votes, he and Mike Johnson had a secret, that he will only be a dictator on the first day. You are absolutely right what you write hear. It does make breathing difficult.

My husband is 1st Generation American. His Mother came to US from Austria in 1941 as a teen and Dad from Germany in 1937. One family came for political reasons, Opa didn't want to join the Nazi Party. Franz came because he had Jewish parents. They also would be horrified to see how far democracy has been destroyed in this country. My husband received his German (EU) passport last year. Our children are applying as I type,

I am numb from the stupidity of those that do not see what will becoming. Included in that is my own brother. It breaks my heart.

I've been trying to relate the Yamas of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras to our current situation (look for Grumpy Yogi Cat) and finally published the fifth Yama of Aparigraha, non grasping. I tend to meander and am trying not to curse but it is SOOOOO hard (I do cuss like a sailor in private though).

It will take some more processing to get through the Niyamas next as the first one is Shaucha, Purity - I might have to wash my mouth out with soap!

I think cussing is good, creative and powerful.

my next post on Shaucha will be pretty much on that - one means of purification is to expel the toxins instead of keeping them inside!

My ex husband's father was 12 and lost his mother and sisters to the Nazis. I have yet to have the courage to read the autobiography he wrote about his experience. I am grateful that he's long passed over peacefully so he never has to know that our nation became what we fought not that long ago.

WOW! I'm sorry you can't see the truth and just shouted your hate to the world.

Trump is a light worker and WILL WAKE up the world to the lies we've been told. Stop watching the fake news. Blessings to you and your family. We will all unite as one. For humanity, for earth, for love. Don't be afraid.

Much love and light to you and to all x

Trump is a convicted felon, an adjudicated rapist, a failed businessman who bankrupted CASINOS. Corporate media has been sane washing him for years, right wing media has deliberately brainwashed people into following someone who checks off every box denoting the Anti Christ. If anything, Trump is a Rakshasa who did much penance in previous lives to amass the power he has now to delude people like you. He will eventually suffer the same fate as Ravana, and those evangelical so-called Christians (who don't seem to know any actual teachings of Christ) will find themselves cast into the pit of Hell, repudiated by the actual Christ they claim to follow.
