What a great break from writing I had. I think you are the kind of people I would like to see at the Heart Room.
My Kosha are apparently balanced and easy to unbalance 30%, 40%, 30%. I have always loved Ayurveda medicine and Tibetan medicine. Their understandings always make sense to me.
One of those “on the spot decisions” (participate in NanoWriting and write my first novel) - and I am going to make time next year to put Ayurveda medicine into practice. Tonight I’ll get my partner and my mom’s to do the test. And food will be cooked to support those results. I’ll keep you posted.
Anything off the bat, that can help someone with Alzheimer’s ? It took 3 months , but have cut sugar completely apart from treats, once a week. She does have a sweet tooth ! And I love to be kind, but am I being kind. I haven’t been able to get an answer to this question yet.
thank you so much for your comments. About Alzheimer's I'm afraid that I am not qualified to answer. I do know that leading a healthy lifestyle, eating fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, greens and grains is always helpful. for Alzheimer's in particular, for prevention, I have been learning how important good sleep is. I don't know if that helps you now. I wish you all the best.
Thank you so much Susan, I am using a lot of your suggestions and I will make the other changes. Sleep is an issue for her. She used to eat at all hours of the night and now I place all the food high up and locked away so that she can't get to it. It is hard to do sometimes, but I am keeping a close eye on it. It is great that it is one of your points. Thank you again.
They say not getting enough deep sleep could be a precursor to alzheimers. Do what you can to get good sleep. I'm so sorry you and your mom are going through such a difficult time.
Thank you Susan. I will. In my case is since I got Covid, CBD capsules seem to help. It is difficult and sometimes I think of giving up, but it has brought us together. We are spending a lot of time with each other. Blessings in disguise.
